Project Accountant I

Review and process subcontract change orders, performance bonds, and monthly invoices to ensure compliance and proper accrual to cost reports. Collect lien waivers, process payments to subcontractors and suppliers, and manage monthly P&L submissions and billings for project management staff. Communicate professionally with project staff, clients, and subcontractors regarding payment tracking and project status. This role manages day-to-day accounting for 5-15 projects within the East Water Division at The Walsh Group, a fourth-generation family-owned construction firm.
