Job Summary
Project Accountant to manage project accounting functions across multiple active construction projects, including preparing and processing AIA billing, maintaining and analyzing WIP schedules and job costing, tracking project costs and change orders, assisting with month-end close and reconciliations, and supporting AP/AR and subcontractor payments. Collaborate with project managers and operations to ensure accurate financial reporting and provide ad hoc analysis as needed. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and 3+ years of construction-industry accounting experience; strong Excel skills and attention to detail are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 3+ years of accounting experience within the construction industry
- Experience with AIA billing strongly preferred
- Experience with WIP schedules, job costing, and project cost accounting highly preferred
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
