Job Summary
Support the Regional Finance Manager and HFW Member Firms with AR/AP functions, including issuing monthly invoices, processing vendor invoices, and generating weekly accounts payable status reports. Collaborate directly with Project Managers and Finance Teams during monthly invoicing cycles to ensure accurate financial data flow. Perform in-depth project analysis, analyzing unbilled costs, WIP, and billings to drive improvements in cash flow and margins, while assisting with internal and external audits. Maintain strong relationships with member firm accounting teams through effective communication.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in accounting, finance or equivalent
- two years related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Extensive knowledge of project and cost accounting
- Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles
- Highly proficient with professional services accounting software
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to author reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public
- Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables
