Job Summary
Project Accountant to manage the financial health of multiple active construction projects; monitor budgets, commitments, and actual costs; prepare, review, and process billing for clients, subcontractors, and vendors; track cash flow, revenue recognition, and cost-to-complete forecasts; partner with Project Managers on financial performance; prepare cost reports, forecasts, and variance analyses; support month-end close with project-related journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations; ensure compliance with construction accounting standards and maintain records for subcontractor agreements, change orders, lien releases, and insurance certificates; assist with audit preparation and data integrity across QuickBooks Contractor Edition and Procore; proficiency in Excel and reporting tools for dashboards and executive summaries.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction accounting or project accounting
- Proficiency in Construction Accounting Software
