Job Summary
Set up customer jobs in the accounting system accurately and post project accounting adjustments, including updating estimates, contract amounts, change orders, and purchase orders. Facilitate cost accounting meetings with project managers to review data and update collaboration notes, while initiating time and material moves as needed. Prepare customer invoices by gathering unbilled WIP reports and material invoices, then send weekly time reports and monitor assigned accounts for reconciliations and delinquency reduction. Process credit card payments and daily deposits, close completed jobs, and communicate with internal and external customers regarding outstanding issues. Utilize ESCO Groups standards and best practices to support ongoing operations.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an Associate's degree program in accounting or related discipline from an accredited college, technical school or university
- Two or more years of related work or industry experience
- Two years experience in Project Accounting functions
- Knowledge and familiarity of calculations such as discounts, interest, sales tax, and percentages
- Demonstrated to be highly proficient with computer technologies including but not limited to, Windows Operating System, and the use of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook
