Job Summary
Manage and monitor financial aspects of construction projects, ensuring budgets are managed effectively and financial reporting is accurate and timely. Prepare and manage project budgets, monitor costs and expenses, and process invoices, purchase orders, and other financial transactions. Conduct financial analysis to provide recommendations on risks and opportunities, while ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining accurate records. Prepare financial reports and forecasts, manage cash flows, and provide technical support to project managers and stakeholders. Requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, at least five years of experience in project accounting, preferably in construction, with proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and relevant financial software.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in project accounting, preferably in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including project cost accounting, financial analysis, and financial reporting
- Familiarity with project management principles and practices
- Proficiency in financial software and accounting tools, such as QuickBooks, Excel, or other relevant software
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
