Job Summary
Senior Project Accountant roles supporting architecture, engineering & construction firms across California.Responsibilities include oversight of project setup, budgets, and financial performance; advanced billing, revenue recognition and WIP/job-cost management; review and supervision of junior project accounting work; contract, change-order and financial risk support; and close collaboration with project managers, principals, and leadership. Requires experience with Deltek Vantagepoint/Deltek Vision/Ajera; Sage 300 CRE/Sage Timberline/Viewpoint Vista or Spectrum/CMiC; advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulas; Power Query a plus). Ideal candidates have senior-level project accounting experience in AEC, can manage complex projects with minimal oversight, and possess strong communication to partner with leadership.
