Job Summary
Direct patient care on a 12-hour day shift in Barnes-Jewish Hospital's 9-bed Pulmonary Progressive Care Unit, delivering acute medical nursing for patients with conditions such as pre/post lung transplant, pulmonary hypertension, ventilator dependeny/weaning, and specialized drips. Collaborates with an interprofessional team (including APN, physicians, case managers, social workers, therapists, pharmacists), develops and documents care plans, educates patients and families, and promotes patient safety and quality measures. Eligibility for CCRN after 2 years; program supports career ladder advancement with potential pay adjustments; unit emphasizes top-of-license practice and professional development. Required Qualifications
