Job Summary
Assess and reassess patients, develop individualized plans of care, and administer prescribed medications while monitoring vital signs, respiratory status, and ventilator management. Change dressings, clean wounds, and document patient conditions using computerized systems. Coordinate discharge planning needs with multidisciplinary team members and serve as the primary coordinator for well-coordinated patient care. Required Qualifications
- RN licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state
- BLS
- Must obtain ACLS within 6 Months of hire or transfer from non ICU area
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
- Specialty certification preferred
- One to two years clinical nursing preferred
- ICU experience preferred
