Job Summary
Coordinate project timelines, work plans, and deliverables across multiple concurrent initiatives, ensuring milestones are achieved for exhibitions, performances, festivals, and the Israel Culture Project. Serve as the primary point of contact for artists, vendors, and partners, managing communications, contracts, travel, and logistics while conducting research on grants and potential partnerships. Assist with grant administration, track project budgets and vendor payments, and prepare administrative documents for leadership. Provide on-site coordination and production support for events, including occasional evenings and weekends, while maintaining organized project management systems. This role supports the Lambert Center's ambitious cultural initiatives within the Marlene Meyerson Jewish Community Center of Manhattan.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 1–2 years of professional experience in a cultural institution, nonprofit organization, Jewish communal organization, or a related environment
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong research, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
- A genuine interest in the arts, culture, and community engagement
- Familiarity with Hebrew and Israeli culture
- In person, five days a week, on the Upper West Side
