Job Summary
Programming Teacher (Part Time, In Person) — Plan and facilitate collaborative coding instructional sessions using a variety of coding languages and robotics tools. Meet regularly with the Director of Educational Development, plan and facilitate learning sessions, assist students in developing computer science and coding skills, maintain communication with the director, model appropriate academic and social behaviors, and perform other duties as assigned. Instruct students in coding languages such as Scratch, Blockly, Swift, and Python; teach robotics control (e.g., Ozobot, Sphero, drones) via coding; collect and analyze data to drive future instruction; adapt instruction to varying skill levels; work independently with critical thinking and problem solving. Requires a bachelor's degree, teaching/tutoring experience, and extensive computer science/coding experience.
