Job Summary
Develop and manage the annual programming calendar for Time Out Market Boston, curating signature culinary, cultural, and entertainment series to drive foot traffic and vendor sales. Serve as primary operational lead from load-in through breakdown, orchestrating coordination across vendors, bars, security, and external talent while overseeing staging, A/V, and service timelines. Act as the main point of contact for programming partners, building a vetted network of performers and chefs while maintaining clear service standards and production communications. Align initiatives with Marketing, Operations, and Finance to support promotional strategy and budget management, then track attendance, expenses, and vendor impact to analyze ROI and produce post-event recaps. This leadership role builds a programming vision from the ground up to cement the Market's place as a defining cultural destination in The Fenway.
Required Qualifications
- 5–8 years of progressive experience in event production, hospitality programming, experiential marketing, or venue management
- A proven track record of managing high-volume, complex event calendars
- Hands-on experience building BEOs and operating within event management software platforms
- Demonstrated skill in budget management, vendor contracting, and financial accountability
- Experience coordinating A/V systems and overseeing live production elements
- Exceptional organizational instincts and communication skills — written, verbal, and operational
- Evening and weekend work on a regular basis
- Physical capability to lift up to 30 pounds and assist with light event setup/breakdown as needed
Desired Qualifications
- A strong hospitality foundation with experience within a restaurant group, hotel, private club, or cultural venue
