Job Summary
Programmer (Python, SQL) to develop and maintain programs for datasets, CRF annotations and mapping per CDISC standards; build SAS programs for creation of SAS datasets, data import/transformation to SAS or Excel files for data review and reconciliation; perform EDC/SAS programming and ad-hoc/scheduled reports using SAS, Cognos/Business Objects XI, R and related tools; ensure compliance with GCP and Fortrea SOPs; collaborate with study teams and stay updated on CDISC standards; ongoing learning and improvement of communication, technical, and problem-solving skills; provide regular status updates to Line Manager.
Required Qualifications
- University/college degree in life sciences, health sciences, information technology or related subjects
- Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience including data management and database support: EDC systems programming or SAS programming
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of clinical trial process and data management, biometrics, and systems applications to support operations
