Job Summary
Process customer data files for direct mailing programs by converting formats from Excel, CSV, and text sources. Execute direct mail DP functions including CASS, NCOA, merge/purge, and postal presorting using BCC, Planet Press, and Crystal Reports software. Format and quality control print files for digital production, managing laser letters, inkjet addressing, and variable data placement. Create project documentation such as programming results and data output reports. Requires five years of direct mail programming experience, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office, and knowledge of USPS regulations and HIPAA compliance. Full-time, 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Five or more years of experience in direct mail programming and/or digital document processing
- Knowledge of Racami
- Database management experience working with relational databases to facilitate programming software
- Knowledge of USPS postal regulations
- Knowledge of report writing tools such as Crystal Reports or Planet Press
- Proficient in using products in the MS Office Suite – Outlook, Word, Access and Excel
- Proficient in using products in the Adobe Creative Suite of programs
- Ability to process, comprehend, and follow detailed written and verbal instructions
- Ability to multi-task and troubleshoot in a deadline driven environment
- Team player with constant collaboration with other departments – Account Management, Digital Printing, Mail Production
- Strong written and verbal communication – clear, responsive, proactive, detailed and thorough
- Organized with exceptional attention to detail
- Self-motivated and ability to work independently, resourcefully, and with minimal supervision
- Conscientious and consistent effort to quickly and accurately complete each task as assigned
- Experienced working under HIPAA Privacy Rules and Protected Health Information security compliance
