Job Summary

Support the faculty investigator by maintaining and optimizing a real-time data acquisition software system and hardware integration, primarily using Python (NumPy, PyQt/PySide6, Pandas) with potential MATLAB/Simulink and C++ involvement. Develop and integrate new hardware devices, conduct experiments and calibrations, perform data analysis, and maintain comprehensive documentation and lab records. Responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware–software interactions, ensuring system stability and data integrity, assisting with experiment setup and data collection, and supporting daily lab operations and reporting.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, an engineering discipline, or physics, with one year of experience in programming.
