Job Summary
CNC Programmer to develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs using Mastercam for mills and/or lathes. Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD models; select tooling, fixtures, and cutting strategies to maximize efficiency and tool life; troubleshoot machining and programming issues on the shop floor; collaborate with machinists and management to ensure programs run accurately and efficiently; support first-article inspections and adjust programs as needed; maintain program documentation and revision control; ensure compliance with safety, quality, and production standards; contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to machining processes.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing environment
- Strong proficiency with Mastercam or other programming software
- Solid understanding of CNC machining principles, tooling, feeds, and speeds
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
- Experience with mills, lathes, and multi-axis machines
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
