Job Summary
Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to define project scope, business requirements, and technical solutions for front, middle, and back-office financial systems. Analyze and document business processes, then translate requirements into platform configurations, process improvements, integrations, and custom software solutions using C#, SQL, and AI-powered tools. Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software components throughout the SDLC while creating technical documentation and supporting implementation and post-production activities. Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Engineering Services group.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Information Systems, or a related discipline
- 1–3+ years of professional experience in Financial Services, FinTech, Enterprise Software, or Technology Consulting
- Proficiency in SQL and C#, Java, Python, or another object-oriented programming language
- Experience working within Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes and collaborating with software development teams
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Hybrid 6x a month (Hiring Locally Only)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience creating technical documentation, workflow designs, and solution specifications
- Experience with enterprise platform configuration, systems integration, APIs, or workflow automation
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development, analytics, documentation, or productivity tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, AI-enabled testing and automation platforms)
- Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with geographically distributed teams
- Knowledge of financial services, capital markets, trading operations, investment management, or post-trade processing
- Experience supporting client-facing projects or technical consulting engagements
