Programmer Analyst R/SAS (Hybrid/Mid Shift)

Job Summary
Perform bioinformatics programming activities supporting statistical and computational needs of research projects by creating, executing, maintaining, and validating programs independently. Transfer data across multiple systems, combine sources, generate summary datasets, and produce reports using SAS and standard tools. Analyze clinical trial datasets including laboratory, vital signs, tumor response, imaging, quality of life, and adverse event data while developing custom code to validate outputs. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to analyze challenges and recommend technology-driven solutions, ensuring compliance with departmental SOPs and contributing to training materials. Work in a hybrid setup with 2 days onsite per week, supporting lead programming activities under management guidance.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, or a related field; or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent academic/vocational qualification)
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant programming experience demonstrating the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the role
- Solid understanding of one or more programming languages
- Solid understanding of relational database structures and complex data systems
- Proficiency in English
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet challenging deadlines
- Positive attitude with excellent collaboration skills
- Self-motivated with demonstrated initiative
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Hybrid work setup requiring onsite work 2 days per week
- Occasional travel to local or international site locations may be required
