Programmer Analyst II

Job Summary

Develop new software applications according to specifications provided and assist Business Units with custom programming efforts. Collaborate with Systems Analysts to design and implement programming specs, while troubleshooting day-to-day problem resolutions and providing Help Desk support for software-related issues. Work with the programming group to optimize effective tools, execute bug fixes and enhancements, and maintain confidentiality. Follow current programming standards while contributing to continuous improvement, and provide general backup support to other EGI business units as needed. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Programming or related field, three to five years of experience in information systems within a manufacturing environment, and proficiency in SQL Server, Visual Basic, and .Net. The Programmer Analyst will work on-site in the New Castle PA office 100% of the time, with approximately 5-10% travel and on-call availability as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Programming / Computer Science / Information Systems
  • Three-five years' programmer analyst experience in information systems
