Job Summary
Develop business solutions based on requirements for all business areas within Cambia Health Solutions by writing code, configuring systems, and implementing design specifications. Interpret business requirements to develop accurate design documents and assemble or direct the assembly of reports for distribution. Conduct acceptance testing of new programs, models, and reports while proactively identifying issues and concerns for management. Consult with application users to clarify program objectives and negotiate common solutions for conflicting business intelligence needs. Review, analyze, and enhance configuration/programming systems including coding, testing, and debugging to ensure efficient problem-solving. Work primarily in office environments with hybrid options available, reporting a full salary range of $79,000.00 – $129,000.00.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Operational Technology Management, Computer Science, Operations Research or an equivalent related field
- 5+ years job-related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience
- Keen analytical and problem solving skills
- Solid oral and written communication skills, including presentation and technical writing skills
- Familiarity with relational databases and client-server concepts
- Demonstrated computer skills using ETL, SQL coding and report tools
- Proven ability to perform difficult analytical tasks with minimum supervision
- Must be able to develop efficient and effective program and system solutions in solving business problems
- Ability to review, analyze, and enhance configuration/programming systems including coding, testing, and debugging
- Ability to consult with application's users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives
- Must be able to effectively adapt to changing technologies and methodologies and apply them to technological and/or business needs
- Ability to negotiate common solutions with acceptable compromises for business users with conflicting Business Intelligence needs
- Understanding of business process improvement, benefit and risk management and software testing, and of all testing events throughout the development lifecycle
- A wide degree of creativity is required
- Candidates must reside within commutable distance of that location
- Travel may be required, locally or out of state
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of healthcare and healthcare business processes a plus
- Experience with AI tools and technologies to enhance productivity and decision-making in professional settings highly desired
