Job Summary
Join Air Liquide as a Programmer supporting application development for in-house and outsourced systems in Hong Kong/Macau. You will own the full development lifecycle from requirements gathering through design, coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and implementation; provide ongoing system maintenance; collaborate with local IT and group application teams to design and rollout group business solutions; coordinate IT projects with Group Application and external vendors; and assist the IT Manager with coordinating Group Infrastructure-related tasks. You will deliver basic IT support to internal users and handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned. The role requires 1–2 years of IT/web development experience, proficiency in JavaScript, C#, SQL, and web technologies (ASP.NET, jQuery, HTML, CSS), and fluency in English and Chinese. A Degree or Higher Diploma is expected, and experience with Salesforce and ERP systems, AWS Cloud or PowerBI, and PC/LAN support is advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or Higher Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- 1–2 years of proven IT and web development experience; experience managing Salesforce and ERP systems preferred
- familiarity with AWS Cloud or PowerBI; prior experience in PC and LAN support a plus
- Proficiency in JavaScript, C#, and SQL or other modern programming languages
- Strong hands-on experience with web technologies including ASP.NET, jQuery, HTML, and CSS
- Solid understanding of relational databases, specifically SQL Server and MySQL
- Fluent in English and Chinese, with ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
