Job Summary

Manage the KOICA-funded Resilience and Food Systems project in Tajikistan by serving as the focal point for government ministry and donor relations, coordinating official correspondence, and representing WFP in steering committee meetings. Oversee budget and financial management, including expenditure monitoring, forecasting, and processing partner payments while supporting donor reporting and financial analysis. Lead the digital agriculture component by planning implementation of mobile and USSD services, liaising with technology providers, and ensuring data governance and system interoperability. Drive Phase 2 resource mobilization by developing concept notes, logical frameworks, and funding proposals aligned with national and donor priorities. Support overall programme implementation, operational coordination, and knowledge management to ensure cross-cutting considerations are reflected in project activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Advanced university degree in International Development, Development Studies, Project Management, Climate Change, or another field relevant to international development assistance
  • At least six years of professional experience in international development, programme or project management
  • Experience in managing international development cooperation projects at the national level, including donor-funded initiatives
  • Experience in engaging with government entities, donors and external partners
  • Experience in developing concept notes and funding proposals
  • Experience in coordinating with cooperating partners, UN agencies or other development organizations
  • Required fluency (level C) in oral and written English and Korean
