Job Summary
Lead and manage complex bids and proposals to drive strategic growth, owning the full bid lifecycle from opportunity shaping to mobilisation. Manage budgets, support transformation initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integrated delivery. Build trusted relationships with customers, partners, and suppliers; champion PMX best practices and continuous improvement; contribute to strategic financial planning and long-term growth while pursuing opportunities to expand the sales pipeline. Eligible for BPSS and SC clearance and prepared to develop with Raytheon UK's security requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience managing end-to-end bid processes and delivering successful proposals
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to align programme delivery with strategic business goals
- Experience in highly regulated and/or controlled environments
- Eligible and willing to gain BPSS and SC clearance
- Degree qualified in technical or project management related discipline, or equivalent non-academic experience
- Ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders and technical experts
- Experience of managing budgets and contracts across the bid lifecycle
- Desirable: Shipley trained or familiar with structured bid methodologies
- Desirable: MOD and/or training experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Resilient and adaptable with strong communication skills
