Job Summary
Orchestrate the transformation programme across workstreams by sequencing activity, tracking progress, and surfacing issues for resolution. Own governance controls including steering group cadence, decision logs, and RAID logs while maintaining an integrated view of milestones, dependencies, and risks. Prepare concise, decision-oriented reporting for the Transformation Director, Steering Group, and ExCo, and manage communication with initiative owners and workstream leads. Support Finance and budget owners to track expenditure, forecast benefits, and validate savings, while constructively challenging plans where status is insufficient. Provide hands-on support to initiatives at risk and coordinate project managers as the PMO scales. Work directly for the Transformation Director within the company-wide transformation programme spanning technology modernisation, AI adoption, and organisational change.
Required Qualifications
- Experience managing large, complex, multi-workstream programmes, ideally spanning technology, operating model and organisational change
- Comfortable operating in both Agile and traditional delivery environments, adapting governance to the workstream rather than applying one method rigidly
- Proven track record delivering programmes to specification, on time and within budget, with credible evidence of benefits realisation
- Certified Project/Programme Manager (PRINCE2, APM, MSP or equivalent)
- Experience in technology transformation, risk and governance within a regulated or fast-paced global organisation and is comfortable with ambiguity
- Able to influence, advise and hold accountable senior and C-level stakeholders without eroding their ownership of delivery
- Strong analytical capability across budgets, forecasts, savings and business cases
- A clear, confident communicator, verbally and in writing, able to establish credibility quickly across a broad range of stakeholders
- Highly organised and hands-on, with a bias towards decisions and outcomes over process and administration
- Curious and forward-thinking mindset
