Job Summary
Provide programme/project management support to the PMU, including creating and managing projects in Quantum, creating requisitions and invoices, implementing budget and project revisions, tracking resources, conducting budget checks, creating project awards/contracts, ensuring compliance with UNDP policies, generating routine project reports, verifying financial data, and escalating project-related issues. Also provide general operational and administrative support such as processing Individual Contracts, managing procurement steps, coordinating travel for missions, donor meetings, country/regional events, HR recruitment processes, and archiving/unit documentation. The role requires coordinating with the PMU and C3RT operations to ensure sound programme management, financial oversight of large budgets and multiple funding streams, and contribution to knowledge sharing and training materials. Minimum qualifications include an advanced degree and several years of relevant experience in programme, operations, or administrative management, with strong competencies in finance, procurement, reporting, and strategic planning.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Business Administration, International Relations, Economics, Political or Social Sciences or related field (Master’s level preferred)
- Minimum 2 years (with master’s) or 4 years (with bachelor’s) of professional experience in programme, operations, or administrative management at national/international level
- Experience in managing finance, HR and administrative operations
- Experience in programme/project management, monitoring and reporting
