Job Summary
Lead games, activities, and structured sessions for tamariki aged 5–12 while building strong relationships with children and whānau. Coordinate school pick-ups (driving required), prepare afternoon tea, and support behaviour and group dynamics to create a safe, inclusive environment. You will be the key adult in the room, setting the tone and leading the overall experience through play and connection. Work Monday to Friday, 25 hours per week, with possible additional hours during school holidays. Supported by another staff member and overseen by a Youthtown Team Leader.
Required Qualifications
- Full, clean NZ driver's licence
- Clear Police vetting
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand
- First Aid qualification, or willingness to obtain
