Job Summary
Support project management across steel and petrochemicals decarbonisation tracks by tracking tasks, timelines, and deliverables to ensure schedule adherence. Organise the Green Steel for Growth Network's activities, including workshops, convenings, and webinars, from planning through follow-up. Maintain communication channels and coordinate with external partners to keep research and event materials on track. Serve as the day-to-day liaison between the internal team and stakeholders to facilitate quarterly reviews and action items. This role reports to the Director in Jakarta and requires fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience working in climate, sustainability, policy advocacy, or strategy consulting in the social impact sector
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia
- Commitment to Climate Catalyst's values of courage, collaboration, diversity, and learning
- You must have the right to work in Indonesia
- Our working language is English; fluency in Bahasa Indonesia is required given the domestic stakeholder engagement this role involves
- This position may require domestic or international travel for convenings and stakeholder meetings
Desired Qualifications
- Experience managing projects for teams, with strong task management and organisational skills
- Experience building relationships and working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders including civil society organisations, industry or policy actors
- Familiarity with climate topics, especially industry decarbonisation
- Strong initiative and an ability to work both autonomously and within a team, adapting to shifting priorities
- Comfort learning new technical topics quickly through research and collaboration
