Job Summary
Programme Lead at Sherpa Kids Ireland role involves managing and leading a team, maintaining day-to-day activities, engaging with children and their families and staff, and bringing lots of energy and enthusiasm to interactions with school-aged children. Experience with school-aged children is preferred (minimum 2 years), with Fetac Level 5 childcare qualification or equivalent. Requires Garda vetting, work permit/VISA, and at least two written references prior to starting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Outlook/Teams and basic knowledge of child development, with strong English communication skills. Working hours 13:10 to 18:00, Monday to Friday, based in Cork (Ireland) — on-site with Ireland’s Before/After School and Holiday Club programmes.
Required Qualifications
- Childcare qualification Fetac Level 5 or equivalent
- Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage)
- Work Permit/VISA essential
- At least 2 written references checks are required before starting
- Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in technology and software (Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
