Job Summary
Support formulation of programme strategies and implementation of the Country Programme Documents (CPDs); provide day-to-day management support to the Country Office programme, including ERP project creation, budget revisions, funds utilization tracking, and ensuring project closure; oversee data lifecycle, performance indicators, and reporting; assist in audits and backstop Programme Associates; support partnership development, donor profiling, and resource mobilization; organize knowledge-building activities and provide training; contribute to knowledge networks and platforms; demonstrate strong client orientation, collaboration across units, and adherence to UNDP rules. English and Arabic language proficiency required; prior experience with UN/international agencies is desirable. The role emphasizes programme management, data and financial management, governance, and environment-related development work.
Required Qualifications
- Secondary education is required OR a university degree (Bachelor’s degree) will be given due consideration but is not a requirement
- Experience: a minimum of 6 years (with high school diploma) or 3 years (with bachelor’s degree) of relevant progressively responsible administrative/management or programme experience
- Experience in the use of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel) and advanced knowledge of ERP or web-based management systems
- Language: Fluency in English and Arabic
- Ability to work in a UNDP environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Knowledge of budget management, procurement, and monitoring
