Job Summary
Supervise children during activities and free play while assisting with homework and educational tasks. Engage in planned indoor and outdoor activities, including games and crafts, ensuring a safe, clean, and inclusive environment. Maintain high energy and enthusiasm throughout the Monday to Thursday afternoon shift from 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm. This role supports Sherpa Kids' mission to provide quality care for primary school children across Ireland's 60 local services.
Required Qualifications
- Supervise children during activities and free play
- Assist with homework and educational tasks
- Engaging in a variety of planned activities (both indoor and outdoor) with the children each day
- Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children
- Assist with games, crafts, and group activities
- Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment
- Experience working with School Aged children (Minimum 1 Year)
- Basic knowledge of child development
- Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
- Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage)
- Work Permit/ VISA essential
- At least 2 written references checks are required before starting
- Monday to Thursday
- Afterschool Club 1:30pm-5:30pm
