Job Summary
Programme Assistant in Gowran Kilkenny required to supervise school-aged children during activities and free play, assist with homework and educational tasks, engage in a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, and help create a safe, inclusive environment. The role requires energy and enthusiasm for working with children, assistance with games, crafts and group activities, and maintaining a positive environment. Candidate must have experience with school-aged children (minimum 1 year), basic knowledge of child development, proficiency in English (verbal and written), Garda vetting, work permit/VISA, and two written references before starting. Schedule is Monday to Friday with on-site after-school/afternoon hours in Ireland; located in Kilkenny, County Kilkenny.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with School Aged children (Minimum 1 Year)
- Basic knowledge of child development
- Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
- Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage)
- Work Permit/ VISA essential
- At least 2 written references checks are required before starting
