Programme and Policy Officer - Information Management

Job Summary
Serve as the Information Management focal point for the Regional Pacific Food Security Cluster and Pacific Regional Cash Working Group, supporting coordination, information sharing, and reporting across the Pacific region. Maintain and enhance information management systems, databases, dashboards, and mapping products for cluster activities and emergency preparedness. Collect, analyze, and disseminate operational data to support evidence-based decision-making and donor accountability. Develop analytical products, situation reports, and knowledge management materials to strengthen organizational learning and inter-agency visibility. Provide technical support and capacity strengthening to programme staff, government counterparts, and partners on data quality assurance and reporting tools. Contribute to corporate and programme reporting while maintaining information repositories aligned with WFP standards.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of secondary school education
- At least seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in information management, programme support, monitoring and evaluation, data management, reporting or related fields
- Experience managing databases, information systems and digital data collection platforms
- Experience analyzing, visualizing, and reporting data using Microsoft Excel or similar tools
- Experience supporting programme monitoring, performance reporting and results tracking
- Experience developing dashboards, analytical products, reports, presentations and other information management products
- Fluency (level C) in English language both oral and written
Desired Qualifications
- A university degree in Information Management, Statistics, Economics, Information Systems, Monitoring and Evaluation, Geography, GIS, Computer Science, Social Sciences, Data Science, or a related field
- Experience working with UN agencies, INGO/ NGOs and/or government institutions
- Experience supporting coordination mechanisms such as Food Security Clusters, Cash Working Groups or similar multi-stakeholder platforms
- Experience using digital data collection and management platforms (e.g. KoboToolbox, SurveyCTO) and mapping software such as ArcGIS
- Experience supporting humanitarian preparedness, emergency response, resilience, social protection or cash-based transfer programmes
