Job Summary
Programme and Marketing Manager for ULI Hong Kong, responsible for coordinating the national council’s program of work and developing marketing and communications strategies to drive membership involvement and sponsorship. Manages programs and events across real estate trends, sustainability, housing, infrastructure, and capital markets; oversees Young Leaders, NEXT, UrbanPlan, Women’s Leadership Initiative, Policy & Practice initiatives, and advisory panels. Leads volunteer committee administration, logistics for speakers, venues, vendors, on-site staffing, transportation, and collateral; manages budgets and finances, program calendars, and marketing/communications including websites, newsletters, directories, and press releases. Supports strategic planning, staffing committees, and yearly budgeting. Requires strong English and Cantonese communication, written skills, and the ability to collaborate with senior executives, vendors, nonprofits, public agencies, and universities; some travel.
Required Qualifications
- Five-plus years of experience in event planning, nonprofit management, or a related field.
- Fluency in English and Cantonese.
- Experience working with and managing volunteers.
- Strong writing skills.
- Some travel may be required.
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and PowerPoint; knowledge of Photoshop or graphic design skills, a plus.
