Job Summary
UNDP/IRH Istanbul seeks a Programme Analyst to contribute to the formulation, implementation, monitoring, and quality assurance of the regional programme portfolio. The role spans substantive programme analysis and development, programme finance support to projects and thematic teams, and engagement with country offices, partners, and operations colleagues to ensure coherent and compliant delivery across the Regional Programme. Responsibilities include coordinating project documents, annual workplans and budgets, preparing donor reports, supporting procurement and contracting, maintaining project repositories, budget oversight, and contributing to partnership development, knowledge management, and training for new staff. The position requires cross-functional collaboration, proficiency in programme and project management, and experience with ERP systems such as Quantum, with fluency in English and Turkish.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced University Degree (Master's) in International Development, Public Policy, Economics, Social Sciences, Political Science, or a related field is required; OR A first-level University Degree (Bachelor's) in a relevant field in combination with 2 additional years of qualifying work experience will be given due consideration in lieu of the advanced degree.
