Job Summary

Lead technical inputs and coordination for UN Women South Sudan’s Women’s Economic Empowerment initiatives, focusing on gender-responsive financial inclusion and entrepreneurship development to support MSMEs and women collectives. Responsibilities include coordinating programme activities in the assigned state, providing technical and analytical inputs for strategy development, project proposals, and workplans; supporting research, data collection, and reporting; delivering training, coaching, and capacity development for partners; liaising with government, UN entities, financial institutions, and private sector actors; monitoring implementation progress, ensuring timely outputs, and contributing to donor reports, knowledge management, and visibility efforts. Required experience includes at least 2 years in development programme implementation with a master’s degree, fluency in English (Arabic advantageous), and strong skills in RBM, coordination, monitoring and evaluation, and stakeholder engagement.

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in social sciences, human rights, gender/women’s studies, international development, or a related field is required.
