Job Summary

Programmatic Analyst drives tactical leadership for daily management, refinement, and performance analysis of multi-channel programmatic initiatives. Responsible for implementing high-level strategies across Display, Audio, Video, and CTV using DV360 and The Trade Desk, with emphasis on budget pacing, audience scaling, and ensuring 100% brand safety. Own the full campaign lifecycle—from setup to mid-flight optimizations—across DSPs, build complex audience segments from 1st/3rd-party data, manage PMP deals, monitor bidding, frequency, and site-list performance to maximize ROAS/CPA. Ensure tags and trackers fire correctly, coordinate asset testing (including dynamic display and CTV), and support A/B experiments and Brand Lift studies to generate clean data for incrementality analyses. Requires strong analytical fluency, proactive data-driven mindset, and the ability to translate technical concepts for internal partners. The role is on-site in Northbrook, IL (Monday-Thursday) with Friday remote flexibility, within Crate & Barrel Holdings, an equal opportunity employer.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in Programmatic media buying (Agency or In-House)
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, economics, statistics or analytics focus preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Deep expertise in The Trade Desk or DV360 (Certification is a plus)
  • Retail or eCommerce experience, with a solid understanding of how programmatic feeds into a larger omni-channel sales funnel
  • Proficiency in Excel and Data Visualization, using tools like Tableau and Looker
  • Experience with Ad-Server & Verification tech such as CM360, DoubleVerify, or IAS

  • Experience building and deploying audience segments using first- and third-party data
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset
  • Experience with A/B testing and Brand Lift studies
  • Familiarity with DSPs, bid strategies, identity resolution, and pixels/UTM parameters
  • Experience with PMP/Private Marketplace deals
  • Knowledge of dynamic display and CTV asset testing
  • Ability to coordinate with creative teams to upload/test assets
