Job Summary
Evaluate new business submissions for Non-Emergency Medical Transportation and Ambulance risks and determine appetite acceptability. Negotiate new business quotes and renewals with insurance carrier underwriting partners to bind business. Maintain underwriting files, prepare required reports and presentations, and work with agents to drive multi-line sales on individual accounts including workers compensation, general liability, and professional liability coverages. Requires minimum 5+ years of commercial auto underwriting experience and strong knowledge of insurance rating, forms, and coverages. Full-time role with competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of commercial auto underwriting experience

- Ability to make timely decisions with appropriate information and consultation
- Proven track record of building strong business relationships with agents and insureds
- Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment to drive results
- Experience working with IMA or other Insurance Agency Management Systems
