Job Summary
Program Trading Risk Associate in JPMorganChase's Equities group. Responsible for trading and managing risk on the US Program Trading Risk team, executing and overseeing risk for large stock portfolios, partnering with the PT Sales team to facilitate client risk trades and deliver solutions, anticipating index rebalancing events and designing/back-testing trading strategies, employing portfolio construction and hedging models to mitigate risk in portfolio management, and collaborating with trading and sales teams across Equities (including High Touch, ETF, and Central Risk Book teams). Requires an undergraduate quantitative degree and 2+ years of sell-side or buy-side quantitative trading experience; strong Python skills are preferred with FINRA licenses (Series 7, 63, 57) a plus. The role emphasizes quantitative modeling, time series analysis, risk management, and cross-team collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree (graduate degree preferred) in a quantitative field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, computer science, or economics)
- Two or more years of sell-side or buy-side quantitative trading experience
- Understanding of risk factor models and optimization techniques
- Experience with statistical modeling, time series analysis, or related data modeling approaches
