Job Summary
Conduct individual, couples, and family counseling focused on engagement, collaboration, and problem-solving while collaborating with community agencies for patient assessment. Evaluate and document the effectiveness of interventions, assess psychosocial functioning, and define specific, measurable goals within interdisciplinary treatment planning meetings. Respond promptly to social work service requests and utilize appropriate interventions in psychiatric emergencies. Utilize age-specific considerations in treatment planning and adhere to standards for diverse patient populations. Requires a Master's degree, valid Washington state license, and two years of psychiatric experience; includes CPR certification and crisis intervention training within 10 days. Full-time position at South Sound Behavioral Hospital in Lacey, WA.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work or a clinical-related mental health field
- Valid Washington state license in Social Work or clinical-related mental health field
- A minimum of two (2) years' experience in a psychiatric health care facility
