Job Summary
Formulate and conduct educational, therapeutic, and support groups while assessing psychosocial functioning of patients and families through established case-finding mechanisms. Provide essential consultation, teaching, and specialized clinical social work services including crisis intervention, short-term and long-term family therapy, and individual/couples counseling on scheduled timetables. Comply with medical/legal reporting standards for situations such as child abuse and represent the facility at legal hearings as needed. Assign and direct personnel to implement nursing care plans, verifying care through direct observation and chart review. This role supports male patients in meeting bio-psychosocial needs at Ridgeview Institute Smyrna's inpatient program.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work or a clinical-related mental health field
- At least two (2) years experience in a psychiatric health care facility

- MSW, APC, LPC, and LCSW
