Job Summary
Manage day-to-day and after-hours operations for the Exceptional Needs Program, including scheduling, sick calls, and 24-hour on-call duties. Lead dynamic risk assessments, post-crisis response, and first-line case management while monitoring staff hours and authorizing records. Provide regular oversight, coaching, and feedback to front-line staff, participate in admission processes and case management meetings, and report workplace hazards per the Health and Safety Management System. Facilitate staff safety incident reporting and formal debriefs. Requires a diploma in social sciences, four years of direct service experience, and strong leadership skills. Required Qualifications
- Diploma in Social Sciences or related field
- A minimum of four (4) years' experience in direct service to children, youth and families
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Highly developed theoretical understanding of milieu therapy
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills
- Clinical problem-solving abilities
- Clinical writing skills
- Completes all COE's and required health and safety training
