Job Summary
Program Team Leader in the Patient Support Center/Call Center responsible for daily execution and management of activities and providing guidance to work specialists. Leads a high-volume call center environment to meet KPI targets, routes referrals/prescriptions, manages exception reporting, guides team workflow and performance, trains and coaches staff, maintains program status with manufacturers, insurers and pharmacies, ensures HIPAA compliance and PHI protection, and coordinates cross-functional stakeholders. Requires pharmacy technician licensing per location (NJ, NV, AZ, PA), strong communication and problem-solving skills, proficiency with MS Office, and the ability to operate under variable shifts and travel as needed. Primary duties include supervising daily operations, ensuring quality and timely referrals, providing updates to manufacturers, and maintaining adherence to SOPs while fostering teamwork and professional conduct.
Required Qualifications
- Must be registered with the State of New Jersey Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Must have Nevada Pharmacy Technician License. Technician Trainee License, issued by the Nevada State Board of Pharmacy is permitted only for internal candidates striving to obtain their Nevada Pharmacy Technician license.
- Pharmacy Technician License (requires national certification by PTCB or ExCPT), or Technician Trainee License, issued by the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy.
- All onsite employees must have PA Pharmacy Technician License.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Deep knowledge of SOPs, pharmaceutical operations (QC/QA, Manufacturing, Development), data integrity, and knowledge tools .
- 3-5 years pharmacy/patient support center experience
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Some previous management experience preferred.
- Ability to motivate, train, mentor, foster teamwork, set goals, and conflict resolution.
- Knowledge of ASPN network capabilities is also preferred
- Previous work experience in a call center HUB environment or customer service role preferred
- Strong relationship building
- General knowledge of pharmacy laws, practices, and procedures
- Understanding of insurance and third-party billing systems
