Job Summary
Manage daily operations for Cencora's distribution services by providing primary telephone coverage for managed care and claims processing, updating network databases, and distributing network materials. Resolve customer issues via call, fax, and email for programs like Central Pay and Prescribe Wellness, while troubleshooting website problems and assisting with pharmacy accounting and reimbursement inquiries. Calculate contract rates, serve as a liaison with vendors such as FDS and eRx, and handle MAC requests through email distribution and daily data entry. Submit weekly research requests to PBMs and report system errors to management. Work Monday through Friday, 8am–5pm, with two days onsite in Orange, CA.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in customer operations, customer support, service coordination, control center operations, or a related field
- Customer service and troubleshooting skills
- Strong personal organizational skills
- Ability to work interdependently with other team members
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally verbally, non-verbally, and in writing
- Decision-making and problem-solving ability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, Access, Word, Power Point, and Outlook)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook including E-mail File Retention and Retrieval, Contact Management, and Calendar and Task Tracking Tools
- Ability to lift and move up to 10 pounds
- Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus
- Ability to stand, walk (or otherwise be mobile)
- Ability to deal with stressful situations
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in customer service, contact center operations, quality, or process improvement
- Preferred working knowledge or experience of pharmacy benefit management companies and retail pharmacy operations
