Job Summary
Oversee and deliver Red Shield programs and activities assigned by Program Coordinators, including assisting in running campus programs for all age groups. Provide educational support through technology connections, schoolwork assistance, and supervision during meals while ensuring CDC guidelines are followed. Manage member check-ins, maintain facility cleaning and sanitation, and report accidents or safety concerns to leadership. Monitor member conduct, correct potential dangers, and support employees and volunteers. Perform clerical duties and supervise other program areas for safety. Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to Salvation Army policies. Requires high school diploma or AA degree, computer literacy, and bi-lingual skills (Spanish/English) are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Must have basic knowledge of computers/Chromebooks
- Good interpersonal communication skills and ease in relating to people from varying educational, cultural, and social backgrounds
- Excellent level of responsibility, reliability, and punctuality and must display appropriate and professional behavior at all times
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis
- Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, and reach overhead
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Must adhere to the dress code standards of The Salvation Army unit where position resides
- High School Diploma or AA Degree in General Education
- If working in vicinity of children or vulnerable adults a criminal background check is required with certification for Protect the Mission policies and procedures
Desired Qualifications
- First Aid/CPR certification a plus
- Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) a plus
