Job Summary
Conduct weekly administrative, clinical, and reflective supervision with up to six Home Visitors to ensure adherence to Healthy Families America standards and program policies. Collaborate with the Program Director to assign cases, monitor caseloads, and support staff development through performance evaluations and training. Implement quality assurance activities, oversee data entry for accuracy, and prepare for HFA site accreditation and re-accreditation processes. Assist with monthly parent groups, graduation activities, and program evaluation reporting while ensuring compliance with Family First Prevention Services Act requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in child development, health, social services or a closely related field
- Minimum of one year of experience in HFA implementation
- Experience and knowledge in implementing evidence-based models and maintaining fidelity to established program standards
- Prior supervisory experience
- Experience working with families who have children ages 0-5 years
- Strong background in early childhood prevention and family support services
- Minimum of 2 years of experience directly providing in-home parenting education and support services
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse individuals, families, community partners, and professional organizations
- Ability to teach and model effective problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to establish goals, prioritize responsibilities, manage multiple tasks, and maintain a high level of organization
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams
- Experience supporting culturally diverse families
- Cultural sensitivity
- Appropriate boundaries with clients
- Knowledge of infant and child development
- Knowledge of parent-child attachment
- Solid understanding of or experience in supervising diverse staff
- Ability to provide support to staff in stressful work environments
- Knowledge of parent-infant health
- Knowledge of the dynamics, risk factors, and prevention of child abuse and neglect
- Willingness to engage in building reflective practice
- Infant Mental Health Endorsement
- Must possess reliable transportation
- Must successfully complete a motor history check
- Must have a current valid California driver's license
- Must have a valid auto insurance policy
- Ability to work under deadlines, various projects and dealing with clients in crisis and difficult situations
- Ability to remain in a stationary position during shift
- Ability to move throughout the building
- Ability to move, raise, or lower an object or equipment up to 50 lbs
- Ability to transport an object from 20 to 50 lbs across the facility
- Ability to exert force upon an object so that the object moves away from the force
- Ability to exert force upon an object so that the object moves toward the force
- Ability to ascend or descend stairs and ladders
- Body agility
- Ability to maintain body equilibrium to prevent falling
