Job Summary
Program Supervisor role overseeing at least two Parent Advocates within CAMBA’s SafeCare Family Services at Flagstone & Kensington Family Shelters. Responsible for staff leadership, coaching, and ensuring SafeCare training/certification; plan and organize program activities to meet contract goals; oversee centralized intake, case disposition, and new case assignments; provide tools for effective service delivery; troubleshoot program challenges; maintain confidentiality; carry a personal caseload of 5-10 cases; may prescreen and conduct initial intake; plan social/peer support events; ensure compliance, quality assurance, and timely reporting to funders; requires a Bachelor’s degree with 2 years’ experience (Master’s preferred with licensure options such as LMSW/LCSW for Master's), supervisory experience, bilingual abilities preferred (English/Spanish or Haitian Creole). Compensation: $62,400-$63,000 annually. Status: Full-time (35 hours per week). Location: Brooklyn, NY.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) and 2 years of applicable experience and/or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience
- A minimum of two years of direct experience working with families and children in a shelter-based environment
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Desired Qualifications
- Bi-lingual English and Spanish or Haitian Creole
- Master’s Degree in Social Work
