Job Summary
Supervise Direct Support Professionals in residential, vocational, or day programs while overseeing daily operations, including person-centered plans, health care, and regulatory compliance. Manage a team of 4-8 individuals in residential settings or 10-15 in periodic programs by conducting performance evaluations, handling recruitment, and ensuring staff training on policies and individual needs. Monitor individual assets, manage medication administration, and maintain accurate census and billing documentation to support accurate service delivery. Ensure vehicle safety, environmental maintenance, and staff scheduling to minimize overtime. Requires a valid driver's license with a clean record.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License for at least 1 year after permit period
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record that meets Sevita's insurability policy
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One-year related work experience
- Must be 18 years or older
- Working knowledge of computers
- Current driver's license
- Car registration
- Auto insurance if driving on behalf of the Company or providing transportation to individuals receiving services
- Other licensure(s) or certification(s) where required by regulatory authority
- Must be able to lift 100 pounds occasionally
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds frequently
- Must be able to lift 20 pounds constantly
