Job Summary
Program Supervisor oversees daily operations of a transitional housing program serving individuals experiencing homelessness, providing supervision, coaching, and support to staff while ensuring quality participant services in a safe, trauma-informed environment. Responsibilities include program operations oversight, participant services, documentation, compliance with agency and funding requirements, safety practices, and facility needs; monitor admissions/discharges, prepare reports, coordinate with internal departments and referral partners, and respond to crises; qualifications include HS diploma/GED and 2+ years in related fields, plus demonstrated supervisory and communication skills. Schedule is Mon-Fri 9am-5pm in Mesa, AZ; salary range $47,840-$49,920 plus benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two (2) years of experience in homeless services, shelter services, transitional housing, supportive housing, behavioral health, human services, or a related field
- Experience providing supervision, lead work, program coordination, or team leadership
- Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness, housing instability, behavioral health challenges, substance use disorders, trauma, or other barriers to self-sufficiency
- Experience supporting participant services, program operations, documentation, and compliance requirements
- Experience preparing reports, maintaining records, and utilizing electronic documentation systems
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with participants, staff, community partners, and stakeholders
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care, participant-centered service delivery, and professional boundaries
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, prioritize competing responsibilities, and respond effectively in a dynamic environment
