Job Summary
Oversee and integrate care in a residential respite facility as part of an interdisciplinary team. Implement and monitor treatment plans, manage the therapeutic milieu, provide staff training and supervision, ensure accurate documentation and EMR compliance, and coordinate with the Program Manager to meet program goals. Requires a bachelor’s degree in a behavioral sciences field (or 3 years of relevant experience), QMHA credential, current CPR/First Aid, and a valid driver’s license. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral science field from an accredited college or university OR three years of full-time professional experience working with adults with severe and persistent mental illness
- Must demonstrate competencies to become credentialed as a Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) per OAR 309-016-0005
- QMHA certification must be kept current
- CPR and First Aid certifications are required and must remain current
- Valid driver’s license with three-year driving history and clean driving record; ability to pass DMV checks
- Ability to perform CPR, First Aid, and properly use AED equipment
- Experience supervising staff is preferred, with one year of supervision experience mentioned
- Ability to travel to other locations for meetings as needed
- Willingness to cover shifts and participate in on-call duties as needed
- Knowledge of recovery model, motivational interviewing, illness management and recovery, evidence-based practices, and strength-based case management
