Job Summary
Oversee daily residential program operations for youth with autism and developmental disabilities, managing activities, schedules, and staff coverage while maintaining a safe therapeutic environment. Supervise direct care staff through task assignments, performance feedback, and mentoring, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulatory standards. Provide leadership in crisis prevention and intervention, coaching staff on safety procedures and reporting behavioral or health changes to the team. Manage program budgets with a focus on efficiency and quality assurance, while ensuring accurate documentation of treatment services and incidents.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college with at least twelve credits hours in a human services discipline to include but not limited to psychology, sociology, social work, education, pastoral counseling, political science, heath, recreation, criminal justice, counseling
- Minimum of two years direct care experience
- 60 college credits from an accredited college with at least twelve credit hours in a human services discipline
- Three years direct care experience
- Minimum of one year of supervisory experience
- Significant amounts of walking, sitting, and standing
- Some lifting and/or managing resistance required related to applying physical intervention techniques – upwards of 75-100 lbs. or more
- Some repetitive wrist/hand movements
- Normal hearing and vision
- Occasional use of computers and office equipment
- Occasional driving of Devereux-TCV vehicles for business purposes
- Ability to meet 100% mastery of Safe and Positive Approaches (S&PA) techniques
- Devereux has a zero-tolerance policy for abuse
